Beyond the Dark: Nightwatch launched for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026. The asymmetric horror game is designed exclusively for two players using different screens and perspectives.

One player enters the House in first person to search for clues and avoid the Gloam. The other player monitors cameras, studies documents and uses tactical tools to guide them.

The game is intended for two people to play together in the same room, but it is not single-console couch co-op. Each player uses a separate Nintendo Switch system and screen, connecting through GameShare or a local network. Online play is also supported.
