• Description - Super Ninja-kun is the only 16-bit entry in Jaleco’s long-running Ninja-kun series and one of the more overlooked platformers on the Super Famicom. It returns to the series’ arcade-style roots while expanding the moveset with dashing, rolling, wall jumping, and enemy interactions like stomping, stunning, and throwing. The addition of a life bar and collectible spirit gauge gives the game a more forgiving and flexible pace, while new abilities and weapons are introduced throughout the adventure. It is short and easy, but polished, varied, and consistently fun from start to finish.
