The Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall (JP)
Release Date: 1991
Genre: Puzzle Platformer
Players: 1–2 (Link Cable)

Description - The Berlin Wall is a single-screen puzzle platformer developed by Kaneko for the Game Gear, released only in Japan. Players control a child with a hammer and must break holes into platforms to trap monsters, knock them through floors, and turn them into food items or power-ups. Despite the name, the game has nothing to do with the historical Berlin Wall and instead uses a cartoon-style presentation.

Co-op Experience - Two players can connect via link cable and play together in linked sessions. Both players work through the game’s single-screen stages using the same core mechanics of digging traps, managing enemy movement, and clearing each screen cooperatively.
