Description - Beats of Rage is an open-source beat ’em up engine originally released for Dreamcast, designed around side-scrolling combat and heavily inspired by Streets of Rage. It later became the foundation for a huge number of fan-made games and total conversions.

Co-op Experience - Two players can play simultaneously on the same screen, each controlling a character through the full game. Players fight enemies together, move through stages cooperatively, and can also use the same structure across many other Beats of Rage-based games and mods.
